Scarves galore!!

If there's one accessory that I can say I like the most it would be the scarf. A beautiful flowing river of color and patterns accents any boring outfit. My father, who is a missions pastor, would travel all over the globe to visit various missionaries our church supports, and would always bring back a new scarf for my mom, sister and me. From India, Turkey, China and South America, all with different patterns or embroidery, showing the brilliance of the maker. Each reflected the personal style of the country. The scarf from Turkey-a country known for its ideal trade location, being the epicenter of East meets West- made from silk with an intricate pattern of paisley etched throughout the design. The scarf from China, while plain in design the texture is of the most delicate silk threads. My mom has so many scarves she uses them as decoration in the home, as each are like a tapestry, draped over furniture it makes my mother's home look like an Arab tent. The coolest thing about scarves is that they can be worn in so many ways- like a tie, draped like a shawl, or just loosely strewn about! Check Overstock.com for a sale they are having right now on some of their scarves

I like the gray spidery one! It's super cool. And it would go perfect with all the black I wear.
