Amazing long memorial day weekend

I just have to say I really enjoyed my Memorial Day weekend. Besides sleeping for an entire day (and yes I really did that) I feltl like we made the most of our 3 day weekend. At first we attempted to plan a big beach BBQ with friends but were told by mr fancy pants weather man that we'd be under a tropical storm watch. Oh but when the weekend rolled around there wasn't a single drop of rain! Thanks. But we scrambled to the beach on Saturday, played frisbee, and then bbqed at a friends house that night with margheritas & mosquito (I've got my friends hooked on that game!) I felt good about the quality time wespent with the puppies. As any of you dog owners know, there isn't a more guilty feeling than kenneling your dog up before work everyday! So they got to romp and play and be wild for a day. So despite crazy unpridictable Florida weather it was an amazing weekend.

Watching tv this week I've been harassed as usual by a barrage of commercials and advertisements.(Luckily I have DVR for my favorite shows) Clothes, food, make up, furniture...CRAP basically. I am especially annoyed by all the commercials made for women. Are we really so easily influenced? Anyways I was flipping through the channels and saw a bit of the Entertainment channel that shamelessly stalks celebrities going about their usual uselessness and relaying all the different styles and expensive clothing they're wearing. Necklaces, hats, shoes, sunglasses. I really feel sorry for the celebrities or actors that actually have any intelligence, must be embarassing to be kjnown for the type of shoes you wear. Anyways, I then began to look up all the popular or seasonal fashion items and was shocked, dismayed, angered, annoyed, nauseated at the useless CRAPOLA that people actually pay for: **Oh and I love how the phrase most of these companies use to sell their products is "Nothings says I love you more than..." when you waste a lot of freaking money!!!!

My morning

Wake up late, snooze the alarm 5 times.
Skip shower, hope I can pull off day old hair.
Let my puppies out which is basically like letting wild pigs out of a cage.
Give them water bc I'm nice like that.
The dogs drag me out the doors like raging bulls, Roman drinks too much water and pukes in the middle of the road...then tries to eat it. Embarassing...
While pulling Roman away from puke Lily runs through the wet morning grass/mud and looks homeless now. Glad I gave her a bath yesterday.
Make coffee, need coffee for brain to function.
Eat a burnt bagel.
Kiss my husband goodbye & say a silent prayer that he's carpooling so I can stay at home a bit longer bf work.
Watch the news & now feel depressed.
Read my Bible, feeling good again.
Kennel the dogs.
Clean up pee in the kitchen.
Head to work.
Gotta love Mondays.
